Africa on Film is based in Maun, Botswana, founded by Duncan and Keren Rowles.

Africa On Film was formed to give film crews the ability to make their filming experience reliable and with ease. We have vehicles rigged specifically for filming with multiple additional filming modifications added and adapted for each shoot. Crew can concentrate on what’s important… filming and getting the shot!

Duncan and Keren have worked all over Africa developing a broad understanding and knowledge of different countries and cultures. 

Duncan, was raised in a remote part of Zimbabwe in the  Nymandhlovu region. He developed a passion for wildlife and the wilderness.

Over 30 years experience in different industries involved in wildlife and the wilderness, the filming industry  appealed to him. 

Duncan has worked on many filming shoots, facilitating in all areas, logistics as well as being behind the camera and in front of it. This has helped Duncan to understand what crew require to get the perfect shot. Being a professional wildlife guide, Duncan has large understanding and knowledge of the Africa bush and its wildlife. Duncan has enormous respect for the animals and the environment and takes this very seriously.

Keren, born in Uganda, grew up in East Africa and later moved to Botswana. She runs the administration side of the company.
